It’s all about the “O”… For orange that is… This color is giving me everything for the end of summer! Bold orange on the nails or lips is a fabulous trend for our last few summer moments. I’m especially loving the natural glowing skin with a matte (or semi-matte) orange on the lips. For a great lipstick to fit the bill check out the usual suspects; MAC, NARS and MAKEUP FOREVER just to name a few. All in all, this look gets both thumbs up from The Beauty Maven.

TBM goes home…

So, guess who’s back in her home “town”! Already, I have been inundated with the sounds and smells of home, had an incident and gone to an amazing (CosmoMag) event… and I’ve been here two days! Stay tuned for the reports on what the locals are actually wearing in the east coast mecca of fashion and beauty. By the way, the Natural Movement is rampant out here!! #ILoveIt. I’ve seen braid outs, twist outs and full-on ‘fros (of all sizes) galore out here! Expect a story on the Natural Movement soon as well as some new product reviews.
